Prof. Jegan Krishnan

Professor Krishnan has a particular surgical interest in shoulder and hand surgery and has presented at many internal forums in regard to this. Jegan Krishnan is one of the foremost Orthopaedic Surgeons in the Asia Pacific region, with an eye for detail and a focus on patient care.
Professor Krishnan bulk-bills all consultations through Medicare. He will see private, uninsured, Work Cover, and Motor vehicle accident patients. Although a Private Surgeon, he also offers negotiated packages for the Private Hospitals to make surgery more accessible, thus avoiding the prolonged wait in the Public system. He believes everyone should have access to health.
Professor Krishnan will see all areas of the body except for spinal conditions. Although specialising in hands, upper limb and shoulders, he also performs knee arthroscopies, ACL reconstructions, as well as hip, knee and shoulder replacements / revisions.
