Andrijano Sukovic

Andrijano (Andy) Sukovic is a fully registered Psychologist and consultant Forensic Psychologist (Psychology Board of Australia Registration No: PSY0001635787). Andy has a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree from Flinders University, a Master of Psychology (Forensic) from the University of South Australia, and a Forensic Psychology Area of Practice Endorsement that was awarded following completion of a post-Master’s Registrar Program in Forensic Psychology.
Andy has experience within both mental health and criminal justice contexts working for community, private and public organisations. Andy has worked with a broad range of clients, both from Australia and overseas, ranging from high school students to executives, refugees and artists. Andy is currently working in full-time private practice providing psychological assessment, therapy and rehabilitation services to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of psychological and psychiatric issues, frequently including offending, trauma and substance use, as well as expert opinion and court assessments on forensic psychological matters in both civil and criminal jurisdictions(e.g., Psychological Injury, Mental Competence, Fitness to Stand Trial, Doli Incapax, Criminogenic Needs & Reoffending Risk).
Andy is committed to on-going professional development; he is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and its College of Forensic Psychologists (CFP), the Australian & New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL), the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association (ANZMHA), and Adults Surviving Child Abuse (ASCA).

Leonard W Kling

Leonard, better known as Len, is currently registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Len studied at Flinders University of South Australia and completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical). He is also a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and for the purposes of Medicare Australia, has been assessed as a “Specialist Clinical Psychologist”.
After several years working in the Public Mental Health Sector, he transitioned into fulltime private practice. Len works with adults and specialises in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders. Although anxiety is a common and normal emotion often experienced during stressful situations, an Anxiety Disorder is associated with persistent anxiety combined with physiological symptoms that significantly interfere with regular daily functioning.

For the treatment of the above disorders, Len received specialised training beyond University and continues to engage with ongoing professional development. He has specific training and effective skills in areas such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
Len focuses on collaboration with his clients in order to develop a practical and cohesive treatment plan focused on client goals, attaining new skills, and reducing distress. A strong focus is placed on examining one’s beliefs/thoughts about life situations and exploring additional ways of thinking and/or behaving that are geared toward altering undesirable emotional states. Sarah Sutton
Available Saturdays 10.00 am -3.00 pm.
Sarah Sutton is a fully registered Clinical & Forensic Psychologist. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Flinders University of South Australia, a bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree from University of South Australia & a Masters of Forensic Psychology degree from the University of South Australia. Sarah has extensive experience in both the public & private sectors, within agencies such as Child & Adolescent Mental Health Serives, Adult Mental Health Services, Correctional services, Families SA & non-government organisations. Sarah’s primary work at Trinity Medical Centre involves providing psychological treatment services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative.
These services are bulk billed (no gap) & are available for all clients with a mental health care plan. Sarah has a particular interest in working in the areas of perinatal mental health (during & post-pregnancy), Schizophrenia, Social Anxiety, Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder & also working with Indigenous Clients. Sarah works with teenagers & adults clients. For those not on a mental health care plan, Sarah charges a private fee $120.

Barbara Giorgio
Bulkbill Generalist Medicare Psychologist, Workcover and Rehabilitation Consultant.
Background in Education – Schools and University, and Counselling at ACU. Graduated BPsych Hons UOW, PGD Clinical Psychology JCU, USQ University Psychology Lecturer. Postgraduate qualifications in Couple and Family Therapy and Education. Particular interest in Anxiety and Attachment Disorders and Pain Management.
Interventions: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as principal approach with adjunctive therapies including Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based therapies (ACT, MBCT), Schema Therapy, Specific Behavioural Interventions, Relaxation and other Skills Training and Vocational Guidance.

Sonia Selvasingam
Available Mondays 8.00 am – 12.00 noon.
My focus is to provide a safe, collaborative, non judgemental space, with skills not to merely treat symptoms, but
to explore the root cause of an individual’s issues and with time assist clients to acquire the ability to help themselves.
I work with Addictions, torture trauma – suicide, personality disorders, PTSD, anxiety, depression, loss-grief and anger management among others.
I currently do not provide Legal reports, Work cover or provide support letters.

Donna McEvoy
Available Monday to Wednesday 9.00 am – 4.00pm.
Donna is a fully registered Psychologist. She undertook her tertiary education through The University of Adelaide, gaining first class Honours. Donna has previously worked in the Gambling Help Services with The Salvation Army providing counselling support and therapeutic interventions for those affected by gambling issues. Following this she has worked in the Disability Employment Services assisting unemployed people from diverse cultural backgrounds with varying needs, until moving into private practice. She works with clients facing a variety of issues including but not limited to; depression, anxiety, sleep problems, anger management issues, low motivation and self esteem, gambling problems and chronic pain. Donna is very approachable and understanding.
Donna’s counselling is client focussed, incorporating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Brief Solutions Focussed Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She works collaboratively with clients on developing and improving their coping skills, interpersonal and social skills, problem solving, decision making, and goal setting, with the aim of lifestyle enhancement.

Daniel Maik

Daniel Maik is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. He has completed the Masters of Social Work at Flinders University, as well as the Graduate Diploma of Psychology and Graduate Certificate in Health (Mental Health Sciences). Having previously worked as a Community Rehabilitation Support Worker in an outreach community mental health setting, he understands the difficulties and implications of mental health and psycho social issues on people’s quality of life.
In practice, he works from a client-centered, empowering approach, working respectfully with clients to develop goals and plans, as well as utilising focussed psychological strategies to address anxiety and depression issues hindering their quality of life.
